Lash Congress Pro online competition

It is with great excitement that we announce the launch of Lash Congress Pro's very own online competition, which is not only open to Hungarian viewers and participants, but also opens its doors to international participants after 6 years! Excellent judges from countries and continents all over the world will be waiting for the participants, and many sponsors will enrich the competition with gifts. For the first edition, we are looking forward to welcoming talented false eyelash stylists with more and more superlative categories!

Anyone competing in at least 4 categories will have the chance to win the Lash Icon Title. 

Below are the categories in which you can compete: 

• 2-3D - Elegant Volume: light volume technique, using 2-3 false eyelashes, volume technique only, no promade allowed. 
• 4-6D - Diva Look: volume technique, 4-6 false eyelash fans, volume technique only, no promade allowed. 
• Promade Volume: prefabricated fans 3-5D. 
• Art category - theme: Violet Symphony: a category based on creativity and imagination, where you have to create a real artwork with a purple theme. It is up to the imagination of the contestant to decide which shade of purple to use, what it embodies and how bold it will be. 
• Wet style: anything classic wet look, messy wet, soft wet look, hybrid wet, spiky volume, angel effect, fox whispy, butterfly effect, noir lashes, anime etc.
• Lash lift: eyelash lift. 
• Special Curls: M, L, L+, L-liner, K, LD, LZ, LU, V any special curve can be used. 
• CurlX technology: L1-CC, L2-D, L3-L+Y 

Based on experience, the following categories are distinguished:

• Junior: 0-2 years of experience.
• Master: 2-3 years of experience.
• Professional: 3+ years of experience.
• Royal: trainers.
• Competitors who have already won competitions but are not yet instructors will compete in their own category, depending on their year of experience. An exception is made for instructors, who compete in a Royal category regardless of previous competitions.  
• The eyelash lifting and art categories are not broken down by experience.

We welcome applications from eyelash stylists who would like to showcase their talent and creativity at this outstanding event.

 Participants in our competition must meet the following entry requirements: 

• exclusively for eyelash stylists, art stylists, lash lift and lash lami specialists 
• the number of years of your professional experience must be supported by a diploma of your first Basic/Apprenticeship or other basic training, which must be attached to your work 
• only clean, professionally ethical work is accepted 

Shall be disqualifying

• Concealment of professional experience in categories: it is very important for us that the competition is fair and transparent. 
• Cutting and plucking the model's eyelashes.
• Retouching: in the competition, we only want to judge real eyelashes made in real life! Retouching or digital post-processing of works is not accepted. The use of retouching programs will be disqualified. 
• You can only enter with your own work. You are not allowed to use someone else's work! If it turns out that the instructor or anyone else built it, you will be disqualified. 
• Early publication of competition entries: we welcome recent, unpublished entries to our competition. If you have previously published your work in other forums or events, we regret that we will not be able to accept your entry.
• Late submissions: applicants are kindly requested to send in their entries on time. Please send in your works by the deadline. 

The following criteria will also be taken into account when evaluating your false eyelash artwork: 

Why can points be deducted?

• Incomplete set: the completed set of false eyelashes must be 100%. In the case of an incomplete set, points will be deducted.
• Red eye: The correct and careful application of false eyelashes is a very important aspect of the competition. If the model has red eyes, a point deduction will be made, depending on the degree of redness. 
• Dirty work: the model's face and eyelash area must be as clean as possible. 
• Brand display: the competition is about false eyelash sets, not brands. Therefore, applicants are not allowed to display branding or name branding on their artwork. There is no disqualification, but please try to respect the rules.
• Lots of glue: using the right glue is one of the key factors when building false eyelashes. Excessive use of glue, which can damage the model's eyelashes or make them look messy, will result in a point deduction.
• Use of make-up (except Art category): the focus of our competition is on false eyelashes, so only soft nude make-up is allowed on the model's face.
• Missing stitches: the first 5 stitches in the inner and outer stitches are counted.

It is important to us that the judging is transparent and fair, the preparation for the competition is appropriate, and the judging is anonymous, so all work photos should be submitted anonymously.

11. Lengths used - as many lengths used, as many points, please send the check list with your work
12. Number of D's/ Fan points - 2D=1p, 3D=2p, 4D=3p, 5D=4p, 6D=5p
